Reclaimed factory maple is used as a versatile surface on this custom, I-Beam base. The maple boards are harvested from original flooring salvaged from factories and mills throughout the Midwest and Southeast. Each eclectic batch of deeply scarred maple tells the story of machinery, fork lifts and workers boots and toil from this past century. In the sanding and finishing process, the color variation and rustic character are preserved offering a glimpse into the industrial past.
