L’Amico Restaurant NYC

Reclaimed red oak adds a modern farmhouse feel to L’Amico at Kimpton Eventi, designed by Crème with nearly 3,000 board feet of salvaged wood.

Reclaimed Materials at L’Amico Restaurant in New York City

French chef Laurent Tourondel created L'Amico with his Italian grandmother in mind. His inspiration was those Sunday meals with family and friends.

lamico-kitchen-796c60f9-1200x678The open kitchen is the heart of the 1600-square-foot space in Chelsea’s Kimpton Eventi. The design, by Crème Design, has a “mod-meets-farmhouse vibe” executed with geometric patterned reclaimed wood and tile flooring.

Crème partnered with Classic Woodwork, a Canada based contractor, to panelize the nearly 3000 board feet of reclaimed red oak sawn from timbers.

Passersby on Sixth Avenue get a glimpse into the L'Amico, but if you are ever in the area, we suggest you stop in to see this beautiful restaurant for yourself.
