UE’s Reclaimed Skip-Planed Oak Cladding is sourced from century-old barns constructed with white oak trees that were already approximately a hundred years old when used as building timber in the early 1900s. Tight growth rings and aged tannins give this historic material its distinctive appearance.

White oak trees that were already a century old were used to construct barns in the early 1900s. Today, those historic structures yield wood with characteristic tight growth rings and aged tannins, combining history, beauty, and long-term performance.
