Character Grade White Oak Cladding
Our character grade white oak is one of our favorite cladding options. The tanins in white oak produce a warm, nutty tone that take beautifully to a variety of finishes. The nicely varied grain pattern is highlighted by occasional character marks such as a small knot or burl, adding richness and interest to your floor.
Shown here in finished in clear matte, this product is available unfinished or prefinished. Class A fire treatment is available.

Cladding Considerations
CHARACTER/GRADE Fillable characteristics include stable or small open knots, nail and bolt holes, insect marks and pin holes, and non-structural surface checks. Natural variations in grain and color, wear patterns, textures, and, in some instances, saw marks are expected. Pronounced wear patterns, scarring, and nail holes, some slight overwood can be expected. INSTALLATION Please allow an extra 10-15% material waste for on-site installation.
