Urban Evolutions supplied 5,500 sf of red oak paneling sourced from Menominee Tribal Enterprises for Microsoft OpenAI Headquarters.

Richly grained red oak from Menominee Tribal Enterprises, “regarded by some as the nation’s first sustainable forest (NY Times),” was chosen for OpenAI’s corporate office in collaboration with Gensler San Francisco. Gensler Architecture in San Francisco has been a champion of incorporating reclaimed wood in modern commercial environments. Their efforts help to support underutilized climate-smart forestry operations, increasing transparency, resilience, and carbon storage in our nation's wood markets.

80sf of our solid oak Broad Wave fluted profile as accents
All products are low-VOC, Red List Free, and adhere to a plywood substrate that exceeds the Eco-certified Composites Standard.

No added formaldehyde or Red List chemicals
May be refinished at least three times
