For the brand’s SouthPark Mall location in Charlotte, North Carolina, Urban Evolutions was pleased to supply nearly 2,000 square feet of our workshop hard maple flooring.
Featuring new #2 hard maple, the flooring creates a bright, durable surface that will continue to develop character over time. The material combines the warmth and natural variation of a timeless American hardwood with the clean aesthetic of a contemporary retail environment. New Studio Architecture led the project design, and August Construction Solutions completed the flooring installation.

When large volumes of reclaimed factory maple are not available, this character maple from the Upper Midwest offers a compelling alternative. The natural variation in the wood adds warmth and authenticity while maintaining the strength and performance that have made maple a staple flooring material for more than a century.
