Our flooring ends up in the some of the most inspired commercial locations from corporate offices to airport gift shops.
Let’s revisit some of our favorite spaces.
Free People (Navy Yard, Pennsylvania)
A few years ago, Free People joined Urban Outfitters and Anthropologie in their 350,000 square foot Navy Yard Campus in Philadelphia, which provides a historic backdrop where all of three brands call home.
Throughout Free People’s 53,000 square feet space, employees walk on heart pine salvaged from a Virginia textile mill. The weathered brown patina adds warmth to work spaces and gathering spots. You can also find bleached white oak reclaimed from granaries throughout Wisconsin that Urban’s salvage team preserved the original gray patina.
Harley-Davidson (Milwaukee, Wisconsin)
The next time you fly out of the Mitchell Airport in Milwaukee, you can see our reclaimed maple flooring in a smaller, more intimate setting in The House of Harley gift shop. Urban Evolutions sourced this flooring from the American Tobacco factory in Reidsville, NC.
Harley-Davidson also chose this floor for their Layton Avenue showroom.
By rescuing wood from demolitions and deconstructions, Urban Evolutions is able to offer its clients a superior grade of product while following ecologically sound reuse and recycle practices.
We take great pride in being able to offer products that are Made in America Again.
