Reclaimed Oak Flooring – Anthropologie | Westport, CT
Wood floors that look like they’ve been there all along.
When working in historic spaces, a critical component to getting an authentic look is to finish our reclaimed flooring so it appears they have always been there.
The restored and renovated Bedford Square recently opened with our Anthropologie client as its anchor tenant. Located in Westport, CT, this mixed use development was once home to the 1923 Bedford Mansion and historic Firehouse among other city landmarks.
Anthropologie’s large-concept retail store features 25,000 square feet of our reclaimed mixed oak flooring. The material, pre-finished with a matte walnut finish, was sawn from 100-year-old barn timber. The chevron pattern and dark, aged finish is a great compliment to the Tudor styling of the original building.
We also supplied reclaimed rough sawn pine used to clad walls and other spaces throughout the store and more of our reclaimed materials can also be seen in Amis Trattoria, a cafe which also opened inside Anthropologie.
