In 1887, Superior , Wisconsin was home to the largest grain elevator in the world. The structure held an impressive five million bushels and towered 150 feet into the air. Even more extraordinary is what was created by a hundred years of small grains flowing over the interior wood surface into the large bins.

The Granary Shelving Unit features antique pine from the interior of these granary bins. The natural erosion of the pine over the past century has formed the unique undulation seen on the face of each piece.
