How Urban Evolutions Began…
After a fire nearly destroyed owners Jeff and Robin Janson’s 1890s farmhouse, they began their hunt for architectural materials that would restore their home to its original character and integrity. As their collection of doors, moldings, and tin ceilings grew, they found themselves helping friends and downtown business owners with their own restoration projects. This local success and their love for creating something new and surprising out of vintage materials propelled them into launching Urban Evolutions, Inc. UE now supplies reclaimed building materials, fixtures, and a line of furnishings and accessories for homes and businesses internationally.
